Stearns & Foster Continues To Mark The Brand’s 160th Anniversary By Expanding Its Anniversary Collection
In mid-October Derek Ritzel, Vice President of Marketing for Stearns & Foster, noted that, "Retailers and consumers alike have embraced the 160th Anniversary collection to date. Frankly, we could not be more excited about the reception it has received in the marketplace."
With that strong success in mind, Stearns & Foster unveiled plans at the October 2006 High Point market to build upon and leverage the concept by introducing two new ultra-plush models. By adding two more beds to create a four bed collection, S & F expands the line with additional comfort choices and a broader line up for retailers.
Each of the ultra-plush models features luxurious layers of latex and memory foam, as well as the special appointments that have always set Stearns & Foster apart from other brands. When asked about pricing, S & F marketing executives stated that the new ultra-plush, tight-top model will retail at $1299 and the soft-feel ultra-plush, euro pillow-top model will retail for $1599. Both of the new models represent a reasonable "value" price for the ultra-plush, higher end bedding line. They were introduced and available during the fall of 2006.
