Greenville, South Carolina based Park Place Corporation is honored to be included in the 22nd Annual 2006 South Carolina Top 100, a ranking of the state’s largest privately held companies. Park Place is ranked 75th—a move upward from their position of 80 in 2005. South Carolina 100 is compiled by Grant Thornton, LLP, the fifth largest accounting firm in the United States.

According to Park Place President Jimmy Orders, "This ranking is based on our 2005 sales. We have continued to grow and prosper throughout 2006. I look forward to next year’s report where I anticipate our ranking to be even higher."

Park Place Corporation, founded in 1931 as Order Mattress Company, is located on a 20-acre campus in a Century 2000, state-of-the-art facility. Park Place manufactures hand-crafted mattresses. Founded during the throes of the Great Depression, the company continues to operate under the direction of three third-generation members of the Orders family. According to CEO/President Jimmy Orders, "Through the years we have witnessed many changes, but one thing that has not changed is our dedication to quality in our products and integrity in standing behind them.
