Simmons Bedding and Big Tree Big Sleep Futons have joined forces to form Simmons Futons by Big Tree. The licensing agreement combines the strength of the Simmons brand name and sleep technologies with the fashion forward styling of Big Tree’s futons, frames and covers.

According to Tim Oakhill, Simmons’ Executive Vice President of Marketing, Simmons “chose to work with Big Tree because of the wide selection and forward-thinking designs. Our goal was to partner with the industry leader, and Big Tree definitely meets that criterion.”

Simmons Futon by Big Tree provides both frames and mattresses. The frames range from promotional looks to exquisitely designed high-end frames. They come in different wood species and utilize Big Tree’s reliable EZ Fold mechanism. Keeping with current trends, the futons have popular finishes provided by some of best names in business, such as Sherwin Williams.

What truly sets the company apart from other futon manufactures is their tufted designer mattresses. Using a fashionable upholstery grade cover, they tuft it directly onto an innerspring or memory foam mattress. Big Tree will also have the unveiling of Beautyrest Futons. The Beautyrest Futons will utilize the popular and comfortable Pocketed Coil system.

The sophisticated frame designs combined with the tufted mattresses give Big Tree’s futons a “sofa” like appearance complimenting almost any room’s décor.

The upcoming July Las Vegas Furniture Market will mark the official hard launch of the new Simmons Futons by Big Tree program.
