When Comfortaire introduced a basic airbed design 27 years ago, it was their first airbed in the marketplace. Today, that design remains the industry standard and serves as the template adopted by Comfortaire’s competitors. The original design focus was on an independently adjustable surface, utilizing deep filled latex/cotton air chambers placed inside foam sidewalls and surrounded by a zippered cover.
