Ergomotion to Show New Adjustable Bed Featuring Residential/Consumer-Friendly Innovations

Invites Manufacturers and Retailers to View Their New Products

Ergomotion Inc., the Solvang, California-based company is reaching out to mattress/bedding manufacturers and retailers this summer at the Las Vegas furniture market with some exciting innovations. Company president, Kelly Clenet, is enthusiastic about several products the Company will show in Las Vegas, including new adjustable bed frames, massage motors, and a mattress designed specifically for an adjustable bed frame.

Clenet informed BEDROOM Magazine that the company has redesigned the transformer aka the control box to offer both consumers and retailers a distinct and innovative feature—adjustable bed electronics replaceable without tools! Clenet also noted that Ergomotion had developed a new product that has a Visco mattress which attaches directly to the adjustable bed base using a new joining system, thus eliminating the need for a mattress retaining bar and the associated mattress bridging. This new product will be called "NUVOVISCO" by Ergomotion Inc.

Discussing the critical features of the Ergomotion adjustable line, Clenet pointed out that all Ergomotion beds have a "wall hugging" design, allowing the head to remain the same distance from the wall, even as the head of the bed articulates up. Ergomotion beds also come with radio frequency controls. These controls allow for operation of split beds as well as one single unit, or independently on each side. For instance, while one partner sleeps flat, the other side could be slightly raised, accommodating a medical condition, or sleeping preference. Clenet noted that the Ergomotion remote controls are conveniently interchangeable between wired and wireless in the same transformer box.

Clenet noted, "In Las Vegas, we’ll be showing the underside of our new adjustable frame so that potential customers can see that the electronics can be installed or replaced without tools. We’re offering a fully loaded base with a massage unit. We’ve also designed our "Ergosport" without a mattress retaining bar. This bed is for consumers who are looking for a very low profile, sleek looking unit that will fit onto a platform unit with only 11" of total height when set up without the legs. Our new Visco-elastic mattresses are specially designed to work with adjustable beds. Using a specified ILD (foam density rating) Visco foam and special scoring at the articulating points, the mattresses conform to the adjustable base as it articulates and they do not create a bridging space off the frame."

When asked about what Ergomotion offers to other manufacturers, retailers and their customers, Clenet states clearly, "Our beds offer the customer a high-quality product at an affordable price, allowing our product to be within reach of a broad spectrum of clientele, as well as offering an attractive profit margin to our distributors. We offer product lines not only to bedding/mattress retailers, but also offer private labeling to high volume customers." Clenet further commented, "Ergomotion can make several unique performance claims based on our patented technology, making the design and feel of the bed unique to the ever growing domestic market. We feel the look of institutional adjustable beds does not belong in today’s bedroom. We have made a product line for the consumer, for the discerning buyer, who is concerned about his/her home and the bedroom appearance, as well as offering a quality adjustable sleep system."

Ergomotion has invited both mattress/bedding manufacturers and retailers to stop by their show space at the Sands Convention Center "Space #S4743" to see the innovations and improvements they are introducing.
