The summer is bringing big changes for Wickline Bedding Company, an Escondido, California based mattress manufacturer. The company’s northern California plant will be relocating to a newer state of the art facility in Sacramento.

It was determined that a move would present some very key benefits consistent with the company’s new business model. "We have changed our focus in northern California to become more of a distribution facility as opposed to being a manufacturer," said Wickline’s Tony Colantono, Vice President of Operations. "This will enable us to adjust operating expenses and allow the company to allocate more money to the primary change it would like to make, a shift from being a manufacturing facility to a center more focused on distribution. All manufacturing will be done in Escondido."

"We want our customers to know that they will have 24/7 access to our new facility for their mattress or bed frame needs" added Colantono. "We intend to stock all Sleep Therapy, Back Therapy and promotional models for immediate will-call or delivery."

Not only will the new warehouse carry a full inventory of products, the company now has the ability to do full line presentations in its market like showroom.

Mike Malkiwicz, Wickline president stated that because the company will be moving from the former Northern California location to its new facility during the time of the Las Vegas market, Wickline will not be showing at the summer Vegas market.
