With the
Tactilus® Bodyfitter® system introduced by Sensor
Products LLC, retailers now have access to powerful,
accurate and exceptionally valid tools for helping their
customers choose precisely which mattress is right for
them. This new system not only visually aids sales
personnel by instantly producing a customized marketing
brochure containing an individual’s pressure profile,
but also makes a powerful statement to the buyer that
the retailer is equipped to help them choose the best
mattress using a scientific method.
 The Tactilus® Bodyfitter® system is simple to use; it
utilizes a thin, flexible electronic sensor element,
similar in appearance to a bed sheet, which is
positioned on top of a mattress. As a customer lies on
each mattress, the sensor records pressure point
readings and within seconds assimilates that data into a
colorful pressure profile of the individual. Consumers
see with their own eyes, which mattress produces the
least amount of pressure points against their individual
body.
Perhaps the most salient feature of the Tactilus®
Bodyfitter® system, aside from its ‘plug and play’
attribute, is the personalized flyer it creates for each
individual. The flyer is a tangible marketing piece
which reveals a consumer’s pressure profile and
prominently displays the mattress retailer’s name, logo,
promotional text and contact information.
Other than a laptop computer, everything a retailer
needs for attention-grabbing consultations is supplied
with the Tactilus® Bodyfitter® system. The system
includes the Tactilus® pressure mapping sensor,
electronic hub, power supply, data cables, and Tactilus®
software, which can also be customized to display the
logo and information of the mattress retailer.
