You’ll Be Swept Off Your Sheet With Gotcha Covered’s New GPS Program!

Let’s face it. Selling sheets is not rocket science. But today, with all the different sizes of beds on the market, wouldn’t it be helpful to have a road map to help steer you in the right direction?

Your customer can buy linens from you or they can go to a different store to make the purchase. Wouldn’t it be nice to keep them in your store because your sales team knows how to navigate and match the perfect bed with the right sheets? Selling accessories, particularly sheets, can seem like a difficult responsibility for sales staff, but there is now a tool available to make it easy.

Gotcha Covered, the leading manufacturer of “odd size” sheets, is on a mission to change the (mis)perception that selling linens is ‘difficult’. They’ve come up with their proprietary version of “GPS”. In principle, it works just like the navigation system in your car making the process of selling linens easy (and profitable) with a bedding map—tailored for your stores.

Instead of a road map to a specific destination, Gotcha Covered’s map will detail exactly which sheets match specific beds. “For example, we will literally list the names of the beds on your floor and show you which sheets fit which bed,” says Lisa Bernath Sommer, co-owner of Gotcha Covered. “You simply tell us the names of the mattresses you sell and we will print out a customized chart that serves as matchmaker for your beds and sheets providing the ‘perfect fit’.”

First and foremost, Gotcha Covered is a customer service vendor for retailers. “We want to help retailers take care of their customers. It’s very frustrating for customers to try and figure out which sheets and other accessories fit their specific bed system, and by providing useful information to your sales team, you can make that process easier,” Bernath-Sommer said.

In addition to the perfect fit, Gotcha Covered takes great care involved in the design and manufacture of their top-quality line. The company knows that thread count is not the only assurance of high quality for sheets. Quality is also determined by the character of the fibers, as well as how the sheet is processed and treated every step of the way. Gotcha Covered linens do not contain formaldehyde or any other harmful chemicals. The fibers are long staple and single ply and the designs have European tailoring.

The company has also recently introduced down alternative duvets, duvet covers, split-head sheets and added additional colors to their line. In keeping with their “one size does NOT fit all” philosophy, their duvet collections are available in standard and oversized dimensions.

Gotcha Covered also carries a matelasse collection, including bedskirts, exclusively designed for adjustable systems. Made in Portugal, the bedskirts have an opening that easily fits over the metal bar at the foot of the bed, elegantly disguising the “clinical” look. Matching shams and coverlets (standard and oversized) are also available.

”We understand that furniture and mattress retailers don’t want to compete with the big box bedding retailers,” commented Bernath-Sommer. “However, by understanding the end user, your customer will walk out of your store and be able to sleep on their bed that night with the right bedding.”
