Natura World Offers Profitable
Dealer-Friendly, On-line Program
Natura World continues to prove that it is an extremely creative and solutions-oriented company with both its natural, health-oriented product introductions as well as the company’s method of going to market. As we reported in the Las Vegas market issue of BEDROOM (Vol13, N1) Natura World has developed and is implementing a consumer direct order system that protects the valued relationships it has with the company’s retailers. Natura World believes that by offering this new program both the company and their retail partners will benefit from increased sales and margins. A leading research firm found that online sales are increasing 15% annually, and that these sales are expected to reach $331 billion by 2010. Another research marketing company states that in four years the Web will affect half of all retail sales. In short, Natura World recognizes that “Internet sales are defining the future of most industries”, and the company has decided to make the web work for it and their retail partners. The company’s flier offers a clear vision of “Increased Profitability for Everyone.” Just over 7.1% of the GNP is occurring online today with about 31% of that being attributed to new incremental sales at brand websites. Internet order size has been shown to increase on average 30% more than offline sales . . . multi-channel shoppers spend more than single channel shoppers. We expect these statistics to translate into additional profits for both our retail partners and Natura World.”
Natura’s show room is wall to wall with an impressive array of innovative, creative and, yes, fun sleep products. The company boasts one of the broadest selections of latex mattresses on the market and also offers a complete line of adjustable beds, memory foam mattresses, slat beds, airbeds, and luxurious bedding. To that add the convenience offered the consumer of a full line of top-of-bed products including various toppers, pillows and comforters, and a sleep retailer is able to purchase their entire specialty bedding line from Natura World!
Several products stood out among the myriad of attractive and innovative products offered. The first of these is the Briza Air Bed offering, “air chamber technology for exact, personalized comfort”. Using premium quality air chamber technology, Natura’s Briza Air Beds allow partners to individually adjust each side of the mattress at the touch of a button for precise personal comfort. The Air Chamber Technology offers a separately controlled, 6-zone air chamber allowing each partner to customize his/her own sleep area at the touch of a button for precise, no-compromise comfort and support. The digital PSI memory feature quickly recalls or adjusts to the exact chosen comfort level, allowing each partner to experience perfect individualized comfort on one mattress.
The Briza also comes with a dual support zone, which sits on top of the air chambers, featuring a layer of memory foam on top of a layer of contouring latex. These support zone layers “echo” or respond to the natural contours of the body, minimizing pressure points. These layers also support the spine’s natural curves and absorb motion for minimized sleep disturbance.
Known for offering natural products, Natura continues their reputation by placing a luxurious “Interactive Smart Wool™ layer beneath the mattress cover. Natura also showed their Natura-pedic Dreamscape with its “pillowy”, plush-top design, featuring a pressure-relieving memory foam comfort zone. This bed and its comfort layers are designed for a sense of weightless comfort that brings soothing relief to tired muscles.
