Third Installment of Las
Vegas Market a Success for the Bedding Category
When it comes to creating a more efficient and exciting home for the
bedding category, Las Vegas Market continues to be the “must attend”
show for bedding exhibitors and buyers. With the strongest bedding
lineup in the industry, Las Vegas Market’s third installment, held
July 24–28, proved to be another success in terms of an efficiently
orchestrated and well-planned event that delivered more top buyers
and bigger order-writing.
Attendees at the July Market saw the largest lineup of bedding
companies to date in both permanent and temporary spaces at World
Market Center, Pavilions and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Permanent bedding companies in Building A included King Koil, Serta,
Simmons, Comfortaire, Gold Bond, Natura World and Tempur-pedic.
Temporary exhibitors included such notable companies as Sealy, Lady
Americana, Park Place, Dormia, Therapedic and Englander, to name a
few.
 “The
bedding segment continues to be an important and core category and
we are proud to have the leading manufacturers in bedding at World
Market Center. We certainly thank and appreciate the support of
these manufacturers,” said Babs Blair, Director of Leasing at World
Market Center. “Las Vegas Market has provided the opportunity for
these companies to come together and showcase their products and in
turn elevate the exposure of the entire bedding segment.”
For the first time since the launch of Las Vegas Market, the Futon
Association International and Specialty Sleep Association showed at
the Las Vegas Convention Center in July. The two associations had
very large exhibits located on the first floor of the south hall at
the LVCC. In January, you won’t want to miss the Specialty Sleep and
Futon Associations as they return to the Pavilions and take over
Pavilion 3.
As the January 2007 Las Vegas Market approaches, expectations are
even higher for attendance with the opening of the second building.
Building B is a 16-story, $345 million, 1.6 million square foot
structure and will debut in conjunction with the Winter Las Vegas
Market, January 29–February 2, 2007. And in January, Las Vegas
Market will once again present a comprehensive line-up of bedding
and bedding related products and exhibitors.
With the continued support from the bedding industry, Las Vegas
Market has quickly become the permanent home for the top bedding
manufacturers in the country as they unveil new products.
The Winter Las Vegas Market is scheduled for January 29–February 2,
2007 at World Market Center Buildings A and B and the Pavilions and
January 30–February 2 at Cashman Center. Make your plans today to
