What
has 421,875 possible settings; 7-zones of pressure relief;
6-adjustable support cells; and 2-individual comfort zones? The
answer is: it’s the new AirTouch line of multi-zoned, programmable
air mattress from Therapedic.
Some retailers may ask, “Isn’t 421,875 too many choices for a
consumer to make?”
“Absolutely not,” says Gerry Borreggine, President/CEO of Therapedic
Sleep Products. “When it comes to the consumer’s comfort, there can
never be too many choices. We designed AirTouch to accommodate every
body, every shape, and every preference of every consumer,” he said.
“Nobody will go away unhappy with one of these sleep sets,” he says.
AirTouch by Therapedic is a line of three models, ranging from
$1,999 to $2,999, designed to offer an improved alternative to other
adjustable air mattresses on the market. The unique 6-zone support
system features a head and neck zone, a back and lumbar zone, and a
calf and thigh zone for each side of the bed. “As a result of our
design and technology,” says Borreggine, “each sleeper can adjust
his or her own firmness and comfort to the power of three.”
Therapedic’s exclusive ergonomically designed 7-zone comfort foam is
among the additional features designed into the AirTouch line.
Borreggine noted that this 7-zone feature is incorporated into every
AirTouch sleep set.
Borreggine informs BEDROOM Magazine that the ultra-quiet high
performance air pump delivers 50-liters of air per minute to the
support cells inside the mattress. He also points out that an
exclusive Transition Cushion Rail assures each sleeper will not feel
any motion transfer on any AirTouch set.
 “The
support cells inside the mattress are made of hospital grade,
antimicrobial materials, which are mold and bacteria proof. The
quality materials are bonded at the molecular level to provide
durability that far surpasses other air mattresses,” says Borreggine.
“When you add it all up, we are confident in stating that we offer
our retailers and their consumers the finest air mattress on the
market,” says Borreggine. “When consumers shop and compare, we know
that they’ll understand that the AirTouch is the premium offering in
this category,” says Borreggine.
